MRI systems are evolving day by day. New sequences are coming out and functions of MRI are becoming more and more sophisticated.
Open MRI is not an exception.
The newly born APERTO Eterna has made it possible to incorporate such new measuring functions as primeFSE*1.
In addition, incorporation of the newly designed image reconstruction system realizes 2048 x 2048 image reconstruction*2 supporting high-definition images.
Furthermore, the system is able to not only provide images but also utilize DICOM functions*1,3 and IHE functions*1,3 aiming at shared use of obtained images.
The APERTO Eterna is an Open MRI which has not only evolved for higher functions and higher image quality but also was designed in consideration of shared use of the image information.
The prime FSE has enabled not only the optimization of the echo arrangement but also the parameters setting with a sense similar to the SE sequence setting. This has allowed fully effective use of the features that the FSE sequence possesses.

It makes arrangement placing necessary echoes in the center and also optimizes the arrangement of the remained echoes. This not only suppresses the generation of cut-off artifact but also allows free setting of effective TE.
