The riskPointer automatically extracts the lung field and LAA (Low Attenuation Area) through the threshold processing from lung CT images, automatically calculates %LAA and displays LAA in color. The computer-assisted processing reduces labor of pulmonary emphysema examinations and allows for qualitative evaluations.
- Automatic measurement: Once an image is selected, it is processed automatically from the extraction of the lung field to the calculation of %LAA.
- Display in color: By displaying LAA in color, the distribution of LAA will be visually clear.
- Modifying function: Changing areas by retouching and changing threshold for LAA extraction are possible.
- Measurement modes: Two modes “upper, middle and lower lung field” and “all lung field” are selectable.
